Dolomite Refractories

Dolomite, a double carbonate of calcium, and magnesium has gained widespread recognition as an excellent refractory material due to its exceptional properties. It is commonly used as a refractory ramming and fettling material in steel melting shops as a fluxing material in blast furnace operations in secondary steel and ferro manganese manufacturing.

Dolo based
Monolithics

Dolomite-based monolithic refractories, including gunning mixes are commonly used in maintaining the refractory linings of steelmaking furnaces. The process of gunning is typically applied to areas that experience high levels of wear.

These refractories are also utilized to form the hearth and banks in Electric Arc Furnaces (EAFs) to perform routine maintenance.

This quick and cost-effective solution is particularly useful in areas of the furnace where refractory wear is rapid.

Alumina Spinel Bricks

Mag-C & AMC Bricks

Mag C bricks are known for their high resistance to thermal shock and slag corrosion at elevated temperatures. They are ideal for basic oxygen furnaces, electric arc furnaces and ladle refining furnaces.

AMC Bricks are also great at resisting molten metals and are used in pouring ladle linings of raw iron, torpedo ladles and inner linings of casting ladles.

- AMC bricks offer several advantages, including good thermal stability and conductivity, low residual expansion and low high-temperature creep.
